Players engage in Space Races by staking their SpaceShips and spending 20 Mystery Shards to enter a race, contributing to a communal prize pool. Each entry triggers the generation of a random race time, entirely determined by chance, ensuring all participants have equal standing regardless of active input. The best times are ranked on a weekly leaderboard, with top positions earning a share of the Mystery Shards pool, distributed in a manner akin to tournament pay-outs.
