5. MekaApe Staking and Meka Points

Blast L2 blockchain's native gas fee distribution feature introduces a new level of participation and rewards for MekaApes holders. Players can stake their MekaApes (with levels M1, M2, or M3) in SpaceShips to earn Meka Points, which determine the amount of gas fee redistribution a player receives, adding another layer of utility.

Earning Meka Points

In order to gain Meka Points, MekaApes must be staked to a SpaceShip. Players can have multiple SpaceShips and earn Meka points simultaneously. Points are awarded in two ways:

• Staking Duration: Simply staking a MekaApe in a SpaceShip accrues 2 points per day.

• Activity-Based Rewards: Activities within the Space Races further boost point accumulation:

  • Each Space Race participation earns 1 point, plus 1 additional point for each DMT reroll.

  • Crafting Mystery Boxes rewards 40 points, with an extra 40 points for every DMT reroll associated with the box.

Points Management and Leaderboard

Points are tied to the specific SpaceShip the MekaApe is staked in, emphasising strategic deployment of MekaApes across multiple SpaceShips. Unstaking a MekaApe or the SpaceShip results in the loss of accumulated points.

A leader board will track the points earned, allowing players to appear multiple times with different SpaceShips.

Airdrop

At the centre of everything we do is a desire to give back as much value as possible, to our holders. The arrival of Blast blockchain enables a unique way for us to do this. Upon MekaApes Ascension launch, the gas fees collected will be redistributed to players based on the Meka Points they've earned, with details on the airdrop to be provided later.
