4. Mystery Boxes: Unlocking Potential

Mystery Boxes offer players a strategic advantage through the acquisition of item NFTs essential for MekaApes Ascension. These boxes, which are crafted using 800 Mystery Shards, can be opened when stage 2 launches. They contain items that are critical for enhancing a Meka Crew unit performance in battle through weapons and armour. These items can also be used to upgrade a SpaceShip in MekaApes Ascension, enhancing their Stardust earnings. The item's level within each Mystery Box corresponds to the box's level, with higher-level items being more rare and stronger.

Crafting Mystery Boxes

When players craft a Mystery Box, they have a chance to receive a box ranging from Level 1 to Level 4. The distribution probability of these levels ensures that while most boxes are Level 1, there remains a tantalising chance for higher-level, more valuable items.

Item Rarity and Power

The item NFTs contained within Mystery Boxes vary not only in level but also in rarity: from Common to Legendary. A Legendary item from a Level 1 box can potentially outmatch a Common item from a higher-level box, adding a layer of strategy and chance to the acquisition of powerful items.

Meka Points

Crafting a Mystery Box rewards them with 40 Meka Points to a chosen SpaceShip with a staked Mega Meka. (MekaApe M1, M2, M3)

Cosmic Crafter Pool

A unique aspect of the crafting process is the Cosmic Crafter Pool. With a 10% chance that crafted boxes are lost and contributed to this communal pool, representing a reservoir of mystery boxes that are distributed among Cosmic Crafter Baby Oogas weekly. This mechanism rewards the community's collective crafting efforts and supports the sharing of resources among players who have taken significant risks to transform their Baby Oogas into Cosmic Crafters. Non-Tradability

Mystery Boxes are designed to be non-tradable, emphasising their role in direct gameplay and player progression. However, this status may be revisited as the launch of MekaApes Ascension approaches, potentially enabling trading to further enhance the dynamic economy.
